DAD BRAINS/RAMOMS - Merry XMas 7' Split FEATURE
With Christmas right around the corner, and a new year peaking its head right over the horizon, 2 bands come together for a parental punk rock split near and dear to my heart.
Already featured on TPPD when their forthcoming single "I'm Old" was released, Oxnard/Ventura CA, DAD BRAINS, a play on the hardcore punk rock DC band Bad Brains combine their love for punk rock music with lyrics about fatherhood in the stylings of Bad Brains music.
Shifting from coast to coast this time in Philadelphia, PA is punk rock cover band RAMOMS. The all girl Ramones cover band are also parents who love punk rock showing that no matter where your from, mom or dad, you're never too old to be a punk!
Recently, these two great groups have come together just in time for the holidays to release a 7" split featuring 2 tracks on either side from the bands, which is the PERFECT stocking stuffer for any punk rock papa or mama this X-mas!
