Four Chord Music Festival Announces New Headliner and Date Change

With the global pandemic of 2020 bringing the entire world to a screeching halt, one of the very first things affected was live music. Dozens of venues small and large were forced to shut down due to social distancing and artists had to make the tough decision of canceling or rescheduling their shows.

One of Pittsburgh PA's most anticipated rock shows, The Four Chord Music Festival also found itself in that predicament having recently announced that for the seventh year inception of the show the legendary punk band BLINK-182 was set to headline on June 11th 2020 at Wild Things Park in Pittsburgh/ Washington PA.

After a year of rescheduling and waiting for the worst of the pandemic to be over the festival is now happy to announce that the show is back on for September of 2021 with a few changes.

BLINK-182 recently deleted all upcoming shows for 2021 on all of their social media platforms as well as their official website which leads one to believe that the band have made the tough decision to cancel the remainder of 2021 live shows, which also leaves a big set of shoes to fill for the Four Chord Music Festival headlining act.

Multi-platinum punk rock outfit RISE AGAINST was recently announced to replace blink-182 at the Four Chord Fest also with THE MENZINGERS filling the position of pop-punk band HIT THE LIGHTS with the rest of acts still scheduled for the show featuring THE USED, MAYDAY PARADE, STATE CHAMPS, FOUR YEAR STRONG, and more.

Four Chord Music Festival is still set to kick off at Wild Things Stadium in Washington/Pittsburgh PA, with the official date on Saturday, September 17th, 2021.
