HOLY PINTO - Gold Leaf SINGLE REVIEW

Holy Pinto

Living the "headless chicken" lifestyle of traveling, experiences and dreams of becoming a musician, singer and songwriter, Aymen Saleh left a rooted lifestyle in pursuit of the former. HOLY PINTO is the result of this conquest, an indie pop driven band Canterbury, England.

HOLY PINTO's writing, though heavily influenced by indie rock & indie pop bands like Deathcab for Cutie, & Jimmy Eat World, is a combination of indie, latin, reggaeton and cumbia-inspired beats & grooves, which plays out beautifully on Aymen's newest jams "Gold Leaf".

Holy Pinto - Gold Leaf

HOLY PINTO's full EP: "SALES FROM THE TRAVELING T-SHIRTS SALESMAN" is out June 22nd, 2018 and is currently available for pre-order.

The Gold Leaf single is very reminiscent of Death Cab for Cutie meets the intensity of Owl City (minus the keyboards and electric drums). PINTO's influences stick out like a sore thumb in this tune though I can definitely hear the latin, reggae, etc. influences.

The video itself follows Aymen's life on the road, hitting up dive bars, clubs, venues and meeting new people.
