NECK DEEP fans were surprised today with the release of a new single and music video entitled SHE'S A GOD. Ever since Neck Deep's announcement that they will be touring with legendary punk rockers blink-182 this summer as well as hopping on the 25th Anniversary Vans Warped Tour Atlantic City show, fans have eagerly awaited for new music from the band.
She’s A God’ was produced by Matt Squire and was recorded in Wales at Monnow Valley Studio, which has seen the recording from artists like Oasis, Queen, Led Zeppelin and more.
This is the first bit of music from the band since their 2017 release, The Peace And The Panic, which had a #2 charting position on the US Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart and a #4 spot on the UK Official Albums Chart.
The song is very reminiscent of The Peace and The Panic with that upbeat poppy sound that's evident in songs like IN BLOOM from the album. The chorus easily gets stuck in your head with the lyrics: "She’s a god She’s a freak like Madonna She’s a god Carry me to nirvana She’s a god Gimme peace, gimme dharma She’s the one Swear to god, she’s the one She’s a god."
