With nearly 6million streams on Spotify with their previous track "Cameos", London pop-punk band SWIMMING TAPES is making waves in the scene for sure. (Waves, swimming, see what I did there...nevermind.)

Their latest single EASY STRAND is an all around, feel good all over tune that brings an indie rock vibe with clean guitars and simple 4 on the floor drums. The tune has this definite ambience about it that reminds me of a Beach Boys tune, combined with something upbeat that The Cure would write. I love that sound of a guitar that is so recognizable by a Fender Tele, you know the one...

I don't know how to put my finger on the overall sound. I don't know if it's the clean guitar riff, or the pinpoint perfect clean guitar solo that gives off that surfer/ocean vibe, but it's in 1 word. Chill. But don't take my word for it. LISTEN HERE!
