exit 111

It's been nearly a decade since The Bamboozle last graced New Jersey stages and upon its 20th anniversary, the iconic east coast festival has announced its return to the garden state.

A lost but never forgotten celebration of emo and pop, The Bamboozle has officially announced its 20th-anniversary celebratory return set for May 5-7, 2023. While further details are not being shared at this time, founder John D’Esposito confirms the news stating: “We're back. The clowns are safe and home where they belong. 2023 can't come soon enough. Let's get it.

For those unfamiliar, The Bamboozle began on the Asbury Park boardwalk in 2003, evolving from the legendary Skate & Surf Festival. It paid homage to the rapidly growing emo and hip-hop scene and over the years hosted more than 600 artists and 500K fans. The festival grew bigger and better every year making major headway in 2005 at the height of the new millennium pop-punk explosion with the likes of Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything, My Chemical Romance, Flogging Molly, The Starting Line, Silverstein, and more, over the 3-day weekend.

In the years that followed, The Bamboozle featured the likes of Linkin Park, Drake, Fall Out Boy, Lil Wayne, Demi Lovato, Foo Fighters, Skrillex, Bruno Mars, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, Machine Gun Kelly, blink-182, Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday, and New Found Glory plus many more, a true festival melting pot for the biggest and best acts from all genres of the time.
