THE WORLD OVER - WARPED TOUR AFTERPARTY KICKOFF TOUR
Tiaday - Vox
Ryan - Guitar
Juan - Bass
Alex - Drums
LA-based pop-punk/metalcore band THE WORLD OVER recently finished up a slew of dates on the monumental last cross-country run of the Vans Warped Tour. The quartet's Warped Tour days aren't finished yet, as they are now gearing up for the Warped Tour AfterParty shows which kicked off in Houston, TX a few days ago.
THE WORLD OVER's has music history carved into their core, (hardcore) as it is lead by Tiaday Ball, granddaughter of Ernie Ball (ya, that same one.)
The group started out in 2014 jumping out of the gate with their first record "Rampart District" produced by Siegfried Mier (Escape The Fate) and followed up with "Mountains" produced by Omar Espinosa (DMX). The EPs gained them significant notice and much praise from fans, following up with gigging and single releases, like this one here!
Their sound is straight brutality combined with pop-punk influences, giving me a hit of dopamine and nostalgia reminding me of another female fronted band the same "iwrestledabearonce". Every tune from their first 2 EP's are raw and brutal, while knowing how to dial it back at moments so the audience can catch its breath and spot a view of the beautiful, dynamic landscape the band has painted before them.
In 2017 the group caught the eye of Alternative Press which named Tiaday as one of the top 100 women in music. The group's follow-up EP, Ventifact was recorded and released in the fall of 2017. The guys (and gal) recently released a new single, a pop-punk cover rendition of "Find You" by Nick Jonas.
Make sure you check out THE WORLD OVER at this year's FINAL Vans Warped Tour & Warped Tour AfterParty.
