Say what you want about rock, metal, alternative? Who knows. Let's just go with, "melodic alternative hardcore with "viewers discretion advised" rock to play it safe for the readers. Anyways. Say what you want about Falling In Reverse, pros or cons, the band knows how to put on one hell of a live show and write one hell of a record, all the while stirring up controversy which still lands them as the first rock and metal band to receive a gold RIAA certification for a new studio album released in 2024.

Ronnie Radke and the rest of the rambunctious bunch also know how to pick one hell of support for a tour with this particular second leg of the "God Is A Weapon" featuring the likes of Slaughter to Prevail, Hollywood Undead, Tech N9ne, Wage War, Sleep Theory, and Point North and on our stop of the tour we have Hollywood Undead, Slaughter to Prevail and Point North.

Thursday, September 18th, 2025. FALLING IN REVERSE'S "God Is A Weapon Tour" rolls into Burgettstown PA, just outside. of Pittsburgh PA, at the infamous amphitheater Starlake which has been a previous home to such infamous shows as Ozzfest and the Vans Warped Tour in the past. The 23,000-capacity venue was booming waiting for the first act to go on Point North.

Point North blasted through approximately a half hour set of non-stop metal to get the crowd going for the night. I've only heard of the band through random rock and alternative rock playlists, and seeing them live didn't disappoint. They're one of those rare bands these days that sound identical to their studio recording without all of the fancy backtracking and overproduced on-stage antics.

The second time in my life seeing Hollywood Undead was on this tour. The first time was at this summer's Vans Warped Tour in Washington DC, but unfortunately, then, I was only able to catch a glimpse of the band as I was doing press and interviews the entire time. This was an amazing set and did not disappoint one bit. The band has aged like a fine wine, incorporating family into their set by bringing their kids on stage during their performance. The band blasted through fan favorites like Riot, and Everywhere I Go before closing out with Undead.

Slaughter to Prevail is yet another band who I only saw briefly at the Vans Warped Tour in DC this summer and was thrilled that I'd be catching them on this tour. Slaughter to Prevail recently dropped a record this year entitled Grizzly and it was awesome to see some of those songs that I reviewed come to life in a live setting. They played tracks from that record like Viking and Russian Grizzly In America with frontman Alex Terrible's vocals running rampant for the nearly sold-out Pittsburgh crowd. Ending with tracks Behelit and my favorite Demolisher, the only disappointing part of the band's set was the very limited pit area i tn the front, so a "wall of death" was impossible to none. Other than that, the entire set was more than solid.

Falling In Reverse never disappoints live. The band walked out to Wiz Khalifa's Black and Yellow while frontman Ronnie Radke donned a Steelers Aaron Rodgers jersey on stage. They kicked off with the song Prequel, a FIR staple, followed by Zombified and entered track 3 of the night with the title of the tour God Is A Weapon. A fun new addition to the tour was the Ronnie Radke puppe,t which "sang" along onstage with the rest of the band and Ronnie to track All My Women. Even without Jelly Roll playing his part, the track All My Life was amazing. Before playing the song, Ronnie Radke wore a cowboy hat saying " you all know what's next. You know what this fucking hat means". I completely skipped over track The Drug In Me Is You which came earlier on in the set, one of my favorites and a fan staple. The coolest part of the night was Slaughter to Prevail's Alex Terrible joining the band on stage to perform the track Ronald. Although we didn't have Tech N9ne on this leg of the tour, it was still awesome to see Alex perform the song. The set ended with track Watch the World Burn.

Falling In Reverse's live shows never ever disappoint. With onstage antics, pyro and puppets, you can't go wrong. They continue to bring sold-out shows to the Pittsburgh area, and always have the best tour lineup for support. Cheers, nd here's to possibly next year's show!

Falling In Reverse is currently on tour with Slaughter To Prevail, Tech N9ne, Hollywood Undead, and more!
