Mayhem Fest 2020 Confirmed!

Ever since its departure in 2015, fans have sought for the annual Rockstar Mayhem Fest to return, or to at least be sent off one final time in epic, metal fashion.

Rumors have been circulating about the summer metal festival's return ever since November of 2019 when the official Mayhem Fest Instagram speculated the return.

It appears that now the first date of the tour has leaked, seemingly putting that Mayhem Fest “rumor” to rest with the July 10 in Tinley Park, IL date confirmed. Not only was the first date confirmed but apparently Lamb of God and Megadeth are also the first bands to be confirmed to play the resurging metal fest this summer of 2020.

It's not known at this time what other bands are set to play the festival, however Sumerian Records founder Ash Avildsen purchased the rights to the tour’s name, having bailed out co-founders John Reese and Kevin Lyman of their debts. So bands signed to Sumerian Records are almost a guaranteed for this tour which could be anyone from Black Veil Brides and Born of Osiris to Poppy and Palaye Royale.
