If you're unfamiliar with The Color Fred they're an indie rock/pop-punk band headed by former Taking Back Sunday guitarist/vocalist Fred Mascherino, and in 2007 dropped their first full-length album "Bend to Break."

Fast forward to 2021 and the band is still very much active having just released their newest single "Right I Left."

THE COLOR FRED unveils its new music video via YouTube for their recently-released single "Right i Left," which is their fifth installment of monthly singles leading up to the culmination of a full-length album. The song starts off with a singer-songwriter vibe with Mascherino showing off some of his skills on the acoustic guitar then builds into a huge sound toward the end.

"I think it's one of the most emotional songs that I've ever written," explains frontman Fred Mascherino. "I wrote this song a couple of years ago after I stopped touring and started to contemplate whether all the years I was gone had any effect. There was one event in particular that stuck out, where the whole band was loaded into the van and as we're leaving, the kids started to break down crying. It was very hard for me to listen to this song after writing it because of what it brings back, but it was a healing process for me."
