blink-182 set to play Enema of the State in its entirety at Back To The Beach Fest

Through the last few decades the countless bands that have went on record to say that pop-punk trio blink-182 changed their life in some way, or got them into playing music is simply staggering. For myself it was watching 3 naked men run around on MTV during the What's My Age Again? music video that solidified my interest in the funny, sometimes crude pop-punk trio.

Blink-182's breakthrough third studio album Enema of the State turns 20 on June 1st, so it has led many to wonder if the band has any celebrations in order for the 2 decade run of the record that still captivates and inspires generations.

This past week, (March 19) bassist/singer Mark Hoppus took to Twitter as he does from time to time to answer any questions his followers and fans may have. One fan asked the burning question about the upcoming Enema of the State milestone, as well as questioned any tour dates with his side project Simple Creatures with Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low.

To which Hoppus responded: "Yes I think we’re going to play EOTS in its entirety at Back to the Beach to celebrate 20yrs,". blink-182 is set to headline the Back to the Beach Festival in Huntington Beach, California, on April 27.

While many, (like myself) who are set to attend the Back To The Beach Fest are utterly ecstatic about the album's play through and hope for a Tom Delonge (former guitarist/singer) reunion for the show, chances were cleared up and shot down by Hoppus himself in a recent interview that he and his former bandmate haven't been in contact since Tom's departure, and there haven't been any talks of a reunion.

Though the classic blink line-up won't be dishing out tunes anytime soon, fans have more than enough to be excited about with Travis, Mark and Matt finishing up their latest studio album, expected to be out before June where the band is also set to play the Atlantic City Vans Warped Tour date.
