HELLA MEGA TOUR OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED!
After nearly a week full of rumors, the cat is out of the bag, Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer will be heading out on a world tour together in 2020 officially dubbed the Hella Mega Tour.
The rumors began days ago as fans were greeted after shows with flyers that looked like ransom letters simply with the band's names on them with "Hella Mega" at the top. Other clues pointed to the tour throughout the week such as official social media pages @hellamegatour being made, as well as a website hellamegatour.com
The Hella Mega Tour is sponsored by Harley-Davidson and kicks off June 13 in Paris and will run throughout Europe, the U.K. and North America with special guests ska/punk band The Interrupters as support. Green Day will also be taking on solo appearances in Europe and Asia.
American Express members can purchase tickets beginning Monday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, Sept. 19 at 10 p.m. local time. Other pre-sale options are available at hellamegatour.com General public tickets begin on Friday, Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. local time at Ticketmaster.com with VIP packages will be available in the coming week.
