JOURNEY Announces Release of "LIVE IN CONCERT AT LOLLAPALOOZA" Out This December!
Rock legends JOURNEY has announced a new live release of their incredible Lollapalooza performance from Chicago, IL, which took place on July 31, 2021, which will be called 'Live in Concert at Lollapalooza' which will come out on December 9, 2022.
The stunning set, which will be released on CD/DVD, Blu-ray, and Vinyl, serves as a testament not only to the band's enduring legacy but their relevance to a whole new generation of rock 'n roll fans.
If you don't know who JOURNEY is then you've been living in a cave somewhere for the last 40 years. The band serves as a benchmark for musicianship and comradery as they grow larger and larger, still touring and cranking out albums to this day with their recently released new studio album, 'Freedom' in July 2022. It was their first album of new material to be released in eleven years since 2011’s 'Eclipse'.
The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018, while having 25 gold and platinum albums, including the fifteen million selling Greatest Hits collection, with total sales adding up to 80 million records around the world. WIth classic hits like "Don't Stop Believing", "Lights", "Faithfully" and "Anyway You Want It" the band's sound and tunes are pretty much recognizable instantly all around the world.
JOURNEY will celebrate its 50th anniversary as a band next year and is set to hit the road for a North American tour in 2023 with special guests TOTO. The tour is set to kick off February 4th, 2023 in Allentown PA hitting major cities along the way including Austin TX, Jacksonville FL, Washington DC, Toronto and Montreal Canada, Buffalo NY before wrapping up in Thousand Palms CA on April 25th, 2023.
