From the name alone this punk rock quartet from Derbyshire UK is straight to the point. Everything about BEFORE THEY ARE HANGED screams punk rock. (Side Note: Before They Are Hanged is a dope ass book in a trilogy by Joe Abercrombie which takes modern tropes and sticks them a classic setting.)
The hardcore punk rock band BEFORE THEY ARE HANGED was formed in early 2018 where the band goes on to say "we wanted to write what we know so we did". Straight punk and metal influences from the first chord struck by this band. Their first tune was recorded live at a session in Sheffield Steel City at Toolmakers Studio produced, mixed, and filmed by Nathan Bailey.
While writing the tune D.I.Y. the band seems to have adopted influence and writing from old school hardcore punk bands like U.S. Bombs, T.S.O.L and Street Dogs with gang vocal harmonies, heavy crunch guitar and straight four-on-the-floor drums.
The band's follow-up single HERE COME THE COOL KIDS has more of a old school melodic hardcore sound with a more dynamic vocal range, doubled vocal parts, guitar riffs and ld. guitar solo. The band recently released videos for tunes, one of which you can check out on TPPD site.
