MAX BEMIS of SAY ANYTHING Relaunches "SONG SHOP".

Following a recent Instagram Live performance, songwriter, musician, and mental health advocate, Say Anything frontman Max Bemis has officially relaunched his SONG SHOP.
Originally launched in 2008, Song Shop has become one of Bemis' most unique and celebrated creative outlets, allowing fans to invest in custom-written songs inspired by their own lives, relationships, milestones, and memories. Over the years, the project has appeared in several incarnations, with available slots historically filling quickly before the storefront temporarily closes while Bemis focuses on completing commissions.
Bemis shares, “I’ve been writing tens of thousands (never counted, but ballpark) of songs for people who appreciate my music since 2009. We call it ‘Song Shop.’ We’ve attempted to open more selectively, but when I do start to sing and write them again (at the same time; they’re improvised and recorded all at once), it does a lot for me. It’s a distillation of the connection between a musical artist and the person listening to a song, but removing the middleman — i.e., the literal experiential gap; you’re not just hearing a song that, for example, reminds you of wanting to die or how much you love your girlfriend. You’re hearing the specifics of your own life through my own voice and (hopefully) empathy and seeing how (hopefully) one of your favorite songwriters can actually relate to your experience enough to sing about it.”
Known for his deeply personal songwriting and unmatched ability to transform life's most meaningful moments into music, Bemis creates each Song Shop piece himself, crafting original compositions inspired by the stories shared by fans. Song Shop offerings include, Custom Original Song Shop Songs written and performed by Bemis based on a recipient's story, experience, or occasion. One-on-One Zoom Experiences, featuring conversation, fan-requested songs, and a live custom Song Shop composition written and performed during the session. Each SongStream Zoom is recorded and delivered to the purchaser as a keepsake. Personalized Video Messages for birthdays, anniversaries, Father's Day, proposals, congratulations, encouragement, breakups, and other special moments. Private Performances and Special Requests for fans seeking a truly unforgettable and personalized experience.
Best known as the founder, frontman, and primary creative force behind Say Anything, Bemis has spent more than two decades building a devoted audience through emotionally charged songwriting, razor-sharp wit, and fearless vulnerability. Beyond music, he has expanded his creative reach through comic book writing and a variety of artistic collaborations while continuing to advocate for mental health awareness through his work and public platform. In additional news, Say Anything has officially joined the roster of Civilized Artist Management, further signaling an active new chapter for the band, with new music and touring plans currently in development.
Max has also re-released the Say Anything webstore where people can learn more about Song Shop as well as purchase exclusive merch items from the band reflecting Max’s storied career. The new website is at sayanythingofficial.com and will have a new merchandise drop debuting on Friday, June 26th.
