OZZFEST Returns in 2027. The Horns Are Going Back Up.

Official OZZFEST 2027 poster listing July 10 at The National Bowl, September 11 at Glen Helen Amphitheater, and September 18 at Estadio GNP Seguros.

If your old Ozzfest shirt has somehow survived three moves, two kids, and several deeply questionable laundry decisions, it might be time to dig it out. OZZFEST is officially returning in 2027, bringing one of heavy music’s most recognizable names back to the stage for three shows across the UK, the United States, and Mexico.

The festival founded by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne will hit Milton Keynes, San Bernardino, and Mexico City, with Live Nation promoting the return. For the generation that came up on battered CD cases and band shirts our parents were not thrilled about, that name still carries some serious weight.

“Early Bat” tickets for all three shows go on sale Friday, November 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Set the reminder now. The knees might need a little more convincing than they did in 2001, but the calendar can still do its job.

There is a lot of history packed into this comeback. Ozzfest launched in 1996, and the 2027 dates follow the festival’s 30th anniversary. Its last in-person edition took place on New Year’s Eve 2018 at The Forum in the Los Angeles area, with Ozzy headlining. Next year’s return will be the first since his death in 2025 and his final performance at Back to the Beginning.

That makes this one carry a little differently. Ozzy’s name is woven into the whole thing, from the festival’s identity to the generations of fans who found their next favorite band somewhere on an Ozzfest bill. Sharon Osbourne will curate the 2027 lineups, carrying that history into the next chapter.

“And Ozzfest will always remain an important part of Ozzy’s legacy,” Sharon said in the announcement.

Ozzfest’s alumni list reads like a substantial chunk of the CD wallet that used to live in your passenger seat. Slipknot, System of a Down, Korn, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Lamb of God, and Killswitch Engage are among the bands whose histories intersect with the festival. For plenty of fans, those bills were an introduction to music that stuck around long after the sunburn faded.

The full 2027 lineups have not been announced and are expected in the coming months. Those names above are part of Ozzfest’s history. The artists playing these three shows are still to come.

The return starts July 10 at The National Bowl in Milton Keynes before heading to Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino on September 11. That California stop takes Ozzfest back to one of the locations from its inaugural year. On September 18, the festival makes its first-ever appearance in Mexico, landing at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City.

For us Pittsburgh folks, there is no local date in this announcement. These are the three confirmed stops, so seeing this chapter in person currently means a road trip or a flight. We will keep an eye on the lineup announcements. Somebody start checking where that old shirt ended up.
