Pierce The Veil Kick Off HOT TOPIC Live With Exclusive Performance
Hot Topic and Pierce The Veil go way back, so it makes perfect sense that the band would be the first to step onto the HOT TOPIC Live stage. The new performance series is filmed inside a custom-built studio at Hot Topic’s Ovation Hollywood store, and Pierce The Veil’s full session is available to watch now.
The set has the band tee wall you’d expect from Hot Topic as its backdrop. The idea is to give bands a space to play their songs and tell the stories behind them, then bring those performances to fans online. Pierce The Veil kick things off, with clips from their session also rolling out across Hot Topic’s social channels.
“Our band has grown up with Hot Topic since the very beginning,” frontman Vic Fuentes said in the announcement. He described the session as intimate, with a fun, loose atmosphere in the studio. That long-running connection makes them a pretty fitting choice to open the series.
Hot Topic says future sessions will center on performances of original songs. Artists may also appear in extras like Hot Minute, a rapid-fire Q&A, My First Band Tee, and Behind the Tee Wall, where they can talk about their music and what’s next.
