Rage Against The Machine Announce Reunion for 2020!

mcr

2020 feels like it's going to be the year of rock as we're still coming down from the giantic announcement of My Chemical Romance's reunion. With that said, Rage Against the Machine haven't graced the same stage with each other since their one-off in 2011, but it looks as though that's about to change. Original band members Tom Morello, Brad Wilk and Tim Commerford formed the band Prophets of Rage with Chuck D of Public Enemy and B-Real of Cypress Hill in 2016 with frontman Zack de la Rocha releasing solo material in the meantime.

Guitarist Tom Morello as well as drummer Brad Wilk posted the same image with the captions: “Chile is not messing around. USA NEXT?” and “Solidarity with the people of Chile using their voices and power in numbers protesting their government and lack of parity. #overonemillion respectively with the same image going up on the newly made, official Rage Against the Machine socials with the following tour dates:

El Paso, TX March 26, 2020 Las Cruces, NM March 28, 2020 Phoenix, AZ March 30, 2020 Indio, CA April 10, 2020 Indio, CA April 17, 2020

Among the dates are two Indio, California dates, which just so happen to fall in April during Coachella who has already announced their 2020 dates, which includes the same two dates April 10-12 and April 17-19. While not 100% confirmed, it's safe to assume that those two dates are referring to the Coachella Festival.

We can only speculate that the band will have more dates to come if they're announcing the full-fledged comeback. But then again look at MCR, in either case, fingers crossed for both band's more prominent return.
