ARCANE GHOSTS - Petrified SINGLE REVIEW
Jason - Vocals / Rhythm Guitar Eric - Drums Matt - Lead Guitar
Arcane Ghosts origin started how I feel every band's origin should begin, over a few beers at the local hometown dive bar.
The Brampton, Ontario post-core band started honing in their skills combining raw emotion with their own brand of experimental pop-punk, heavily influenced by bands like Dance Gavin Dance, Citizen and Basement. The guys have been dripping blood, sweat and beers hard at work on their next EP expected due in early 2019.
Recently dropping this past Nov. 2018, is a precursor to that album, a single drop entitled PETRIFIED. The track is scattered with a modern pop-punk feel, easy-core heaviness, and even at times those "math-core" stop breaks that pop up in and out of more modern pop-punk bands as of late like Belmont and Knuckle Puck. I'm a total fan, and can't fucking wait to hear more from these guys in the new year.
