BLAMING YOU - “All Wound Up" SINGLE REVIEW

The bay area punk rock quartet known as BLAMING YOU are back at it again with a follow-up single to their 2018 EP WELCOME TO THE LIFE.

The band has been hard at work with new tunes and playing shows within the last year, gigging with fellow The Pop Punk Dad band's featured Alive & Well and Get Married, among others.
The band's latest single ALL WOUND UP, comes fully equipped with a music video along with BLAMING YOU's straight punk rock "in your face" attitude. The tune has a more modern feel than their previous tunes with a jumpy breakdown-like intro. The verses are very straight forward and let the lyrics do what words do best.
The dynamics in the tune are on point with little guitar licks here and there, "whoa whoa" and other gang like vocals as well as an interlude which "breaks it down" without having a breakdown. (It's just a really sick crescendo into a guitar solo.) The solo and end of the tune throws you for a loop with a transpose up, it's pretty dope. But don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself!
