POST MALONE and JELLY ROLL "Show Review" - A Parent's Perspective

There are few musical artists on this planet that we live on that have successfully mastered multiple genres and walk the line, even blurring the lines at time, Post Malone, is one of those artists.


Gaining popularity in the realm of hip-hop with his breakthrough song “White Iverson”, the New York born, but native Texan has since then hopped from the rock, pop and indie genres and now dabbling in the realm of country music. His recent 2024 country album “F-1 Trillion” which has featured country music royalty such as Dolly Parton, Hank Williams Jr. and Tim McGraw, just to name a few took the multi-genre fasited artist on a full blown country rock tour featuring the likes of Sierra Ferrell, Chandler Walters and Jelly Roll.

Thursday, May 29th, 2025, Post Malone along with the aforementioned open acts sold out the PNC Park Pittsburgh Pirates baseball stadium. Fans lined around the block as open act Chandler Walters took the stage for about a half hour set, performing straight, raw old school country music.


As fans continued to pour in, singer/songwriter Sierra Ferrell took the stage performing a set very reminiscent of Loretta Lynn with a modern indie twist to her style of writing.
