PUNCHLINE Announces Hometown Show For ACTION 20th Anniversary Album
By this point, after over two decades into their career, you can consider Pittsburgh-based rock band Punchline legends. The band just announced their “Action” 20 Year Anniversary Show to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of their Fueled By Ramen release “Action” [http://punchlion.com]. Happening on Saturday, November 30th at Roxian Theatre in McKees Rocks, tickets to this highly anticipated event go on sale this Friday (April 19th) at 10 a.m. on the venue website & Ticketmaster.
Recorded & produced by Sean O’Keefe in Chicago, IL, “Action” was released in February of 2004. Over the years, this album has grown in popularity to not only become a fan favorite; but has made a lasting impression on superstar artists like Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, who performed a cover of the “Action” song “Heart Transplant” at their recent sold-out concert at PPG Paints Arena in Downtown Pittsburgh. Punchline will perform the entire “Action” album from front to back at Roxian Theatre. Supporting acts for this one-night-only performance are to be announced.
