SIGNS OF PROGRESS "Admit It" SINGLE REVIEW

sanders ep

Signs of Progress has released their first single entitled “Admit It” which is off of the band's debut EP "SAFE HAVEN" out everywhere November 20th 2020.

“Safe Haven” is produced and mastered by renowned producer Lee Dyess, who has notably worked with bands such as Mayday Parade, From First to Last, Against Me!, I Set My Friends on Fire, Stages and Stereos, and Select Start.

The overall sound of "Admit It" feels and sounds like a total homage to pop-punk music over the last 15 to 20 years. You can definitely tell by the opening riff of the song that the band's influence reflects the producer they chose for the project with a total reminiscence of Mayday Parade circa A Lesson In Romantics. Open vocals by Sage Viscovi are emotional and powerful with a fast-paced punchy backing of the rest of the band that keeps up throughout the entire track. With catchy easy to sing-a-long chorus lines like "Wave goodbye to our history, you’re adding insult to injury" it's a throwback to the likes of older FOB and P!ATD.

If this is just an introduction to Signs of Progress, I can't wait to hear what the rest of their EP Safe Haven sounds like which is out everywhere on all streaming platforms 11/20/20.
