Sum 41 Underclass Hero on Vinyl For First Time Ever!

Sum 41 is a band that wears their scars proud, from Grammy nominations to self-destruction, the Canadian pop-punk band who began in the early 90's as a NOFX cover band has seen it all. In 1999, Sum 41 signed an international record deal with Island Records and released its first EP and by 2001 ALL KILLER, NO FILLER was all over commercial radio. Their tune FAT LIP reached #1 on the Billboard Charts and their success continued to grow throughout the early 2000's with the second wave of pop-punk.
In 2006 the band started recording their 4th studio record UNDERCLASS HERO, the album, backed by the first single and title track, "Underclass Hero", was released on July 24, 2007. The album was a commercial success, debuting at number seven on the Billboard 200 and at number one on the Billboard Rock Albums chart, the band's highest US chart position to date.
The lyrics have been described as more mature and personal than in some of the band's previous records. It was written as a concept album focusing on Whibley's outlook on life, covering subjects such as politics, atheism and family life. The album has more of a pop-punk sound in comparison to the alternative metal style of their previous album, Chuck.
Teaming up with SRCvinyl, Sum 41's "Underclass Hero" will be released on vinyl for the first time ever! "Underclass Hero" will be given the full SRCHIFI treatment with a limited edition, audiophile-level pressing and premium packaging. The album was mastered for vinyl by Kevin Gray (Coherent Audio) and includes a D Side Etching. The album will be pressed on a custom colored vinyl, housed in a gatefold jacket and accompanied with an 11x22, 4 panel insert.
