Bad Religion and Alkaline Trio reschedule co-headlining tour
As 2020 was shaping up to be an amazing year for concerts, the pandemic hit and shut everything down, causing bands to cancel and reschedule their tours.
At the height of the pandemic, punk rock legends Bad Religion and Alkaline Trio teamed up for a co-headlining tour across the US which was to start in March of 2020, and hit 18 cities across Northern America.
The two punk rock giants recently announced their rescheduled dates for an upcoming Fall 2021 tour which will be joined by opening act War On Women.
This new tour is set to kick-off on October 15th in Riverside, CA and will end on November 26th back in California at the Hollywood Palladium in LA hitting major cities across the US including New York, Philadelphia, Dallas TX, Seattle WA and Denver CO.
Lead singer/guitaritst Matt Skiba has two-day jobs with not only being the fronting, founding member of Alkaline Trio but trades off being the lead guitarist and singer of pop-punk band blink-182 had this to say about Bad Religion: “Bad Religion was one of my first loves. I remember exactly where I was the first time I heard ‘Suffer’ around age 12. They are one of the very reasons I started playing punk rock music and continue to today. This tour is going to be epic on many levels. We’ve done Warped Tour and Festival shows many times over the years but this will be the first time it’s just us and I couldn’t be more thrilled!”
