DC's 'BREAKIN' EVEN FEST' set to kick off last week of April.

breakin even fest 1

Breakin’ Even started in 2016 by members of the DC area band American Television whom I've previously featured on The Pop Punk Dad. CLICK HERE TO CHECK THAT OUT!

Since BEF's inception, the members have partnered up with venues to produce events centered around Washington DC and Baltimore’s best up-and-coming punk rock, rock and indie bands along side the nations biggest acts from labels like SideOneDummy, Epitaph, The Black Numbers, Asian Man, and Topshelf Records.

Breakin’ Even Fest's goal since day one has been about celebrating the bands, the community, and everything that goes into making music happen. In total DIY fashion, they partner with local venues, local sponsors, and local charities to create awareness that music does not stop at the stage, it’s everywhere.

It's April and Breakin' Even Fest is right around the corner, heading back to The Pie Shop in DC, hosted the last week of April, after Easter. This year's fest runs from April 26-28 and hosts 13 bands over 3 nights which includes nightly raffles, a Say-10 Records pop up shop on the roof deck, and, of course, pie. The venue is located above Dangerously Delicious Pies DC. It features a roof deck, full bar, killer sound system, and pie. Yes pie. Check out their site/menu HERE!
