My Chemical Romance Reunion Show (VIDEOS)

The music world is already exploding in less than 24 hours after My Chemical Romance made their triumphant return. After a seven year hiatus, MCR returned to The Shrine in Los Angeles last night, tearing through a career-spanning setlist to a sold-out crowd that traveled from all corners of the globe.

Earlier last month, Thursday were revealed to be the opening/supporting act for the event, only hyping the show up that much more. The band had an even bigger surprise last night by bringing on Saves The Day frontman Chris Conley to help them out during the show.

MCR promptly took the stage with their giant angel "Return" banner covering the stage, opening to the beginning dialogue during their music video for "I'm Not Okay". After the exchange of words over the PA system, the curtain dropped revealing the band, jumping into "I'm Not Okay" which caused the sold-out LA crowd to explode.

The band ripped through a 20-song setlist spanning throughout the career of MCR which featured fan favorites, deep cuts and two encore performances, trolling the audience by holding out on playing The Black Parade until the very end in very MCR fashion.

Though this is the only show the band has planned in 2019, and from what the world originally thought, their ONLY show back, the band is looking more and more that a full-fledged reunion tour is just around the corner with the band already set to play a slew of shows in 2020 including festivals in Japan, New Zealand, and Australia.
